Course Description

The ITA School Professional Development & Leadership Training Programme provides practical professional development designed to strengthen teachers’ effectiveness and improve student learning. The Effective Teaching & Learning course focuses on effective lesson planning, student engagement, questioning, assessment, classroom practice, and reflective teaching.

The training can be delivered on-site at the school or online, providing flexibility to meet the needs of different schools and teaching teams. On-site delivery may include interactive workshops, classroom-based activities, lesson observation, coaching, feedback, and practical action planning. Online delivery provides the same professional learning through interactive virtual workshops, discussions, collaborative activities, case studies, and guided reflection.

Both formats are practical, collaborative and improvement-focused, enabling teachers to apply new strategies directly to their teaching and support continuous improvement in learning outcomes.
