ITA Young Critical Thinkers in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

Project Definition:
This project is an international competition organized by the International Teachers Association, in which three students from each ITA member or non ITA member can take part. Each student is required to design a critical thinking question on a topic of their choice and provide a well-reasoned answer to that question.
The submitted questions and answers are evaluated using artificial intelligence based on predefined criteria that measure the quality of critical thinking, clarity, depth of reasoning, and relevance. Following the evaluation process, three students are selected as winners.
The winning students will be awarded official certificates of achievement issued by the International Teachers Association, recognizing their excellence in critical thinking skills.
Procedure:
▪️The project director, Mr. Yasser J. Alaisawi, provides participating members with an official submission link prepared by the International Teachers Association. Students use this link to write their critical thinking questions and corresponding answers.
▪️Each student formulates one original critical thinking question on a topic of their choice and provides a clear, well-structured answer that demonstrates depth of thinking and reasoning.
▪️After completing their submissions, students export their work as a PDF file and send it to the official email address of the project director within the specified submission period. (From 10th January until 28th February 2026).
▪️All submitted questions and answers are collected, reviewed for completeness, and compiled into a single electronic book (eBook) prepared by the project director.
▪️The compiled submissions are evaluated using artificial intelligence according to predefined assessment criteria to determine the winning entries.
▪️The names and photographs of the winning students are announced and published alongside their selected questions and answers in the final eBook.
▪️The eBook, including all approved submissions and the winners’ details, is officially published on the International Teachers Association website as a permanent educational resource.
